Butler Band Benefit (Special Event)

Oct 30

We are so thankful that The Comedy Zone is stepping up to partner with us and help us fund some of our important programs this year. With your help, and while enjoying a really funny night with comedian Jeff Dye, we are going to give every marching band student interested in participating in our Orlando parade event the opportunity to raise money to go toward their trip fees. Half of your ticket purchase tonight will go directly to the student you purchased your ticket from, and half will go toward scholarships, fundraiser costs, music, guest teachers, instruments, and instrument repairs for the entire band program. Doors open at 5:30 starting the silent auction. Show starts at 6:30

The Butler High School Band exists for three reasons.

To teach students to play an instrument and instill in them an appreciation for music.
To learn about music history and music theory
To develop their creativity, social, communication, and problem-solving skills.
We perform at concerts, football games, and competitions throughout the school year. And we march in several parades in our community including Mint Hill Madness, the Matthews Alive Festival, and a big parade opportunity this spring at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. We do all of this with no monetary support from the school system. The costs of running our band program are covered by marching band fees and monies raised by the students and parents as part of our band booster program.

More importantly, with your help, the Bulldog Band students will continue their success into the rest of their lives and whatever endeavors they choose to pursue through the life lessons learned in the Bulldog Bands and Color Guard!
